What was the first video game you've played? Either Tetris, Snake, or Pong. Lmao. What was the first videogame you own? A pacman game on the gameboy? Unsure.. What is your all time favorite videogame character? I don't think I have one. Which Videogame or videogame character got you into gaming? Just games in general. I've been playing games for as long as I can remember. What videogame would you recommend to others? Skyrim, Dead Space, GTAV, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ How did gaming influence your life? It provided a space for me that gave a sense of achievement, belonging, perseverance, & cultivated my imagination, probably my creativity as well.
What was the first video game you've played? Space Invaders What was the first videogame you own? My parents had one of those Pong things that we played, but I think the first game I had that was officially mine was Donkey Kong for the Atari 2600 What is your all time favorite videogame character? None really come to mind. Which Videogame or videogame character got you into gaming? Wasn't really a specific game. I started playing in the arcades and I just played whatever looked fun. What videogame would you recommend to others? Too many to list and depends on what they like. How did gaming influence your life? It got me interested in computers. It gave me something social to do that didn't involve sports. I met my best friend of almost 20 years in an online game and that friendship led to moving to a new state, taking up some new hobbies and meeting a lot of cool people I probably would never have met otherwise. Had some bad influences too. Skipped a lot of classes in college because I got too wrapped up playing online games.
What was the first video game you've played? Super Mario World for the SNES. I think it was fairly new when I saw it in '94-ish. But it absolutely blew my mind. You press buttons and the guy on the screen does stuff? Crazy! :eek: What was the first videogame you owned? Frogger for PS1. Not a bad game, although not exactly what I wanted either. What is your all time favorite videogame character? I can't immediately think of one. I like games for the experiences less so than the characters. But for the sake of the question, LtCmdr. Shepard from Mass Effect. Regardless of how much you customize him or her, I love that brand of stoic heroism in the face of impossible odds. That is after whom I modeled my own starship officer character. Which Videogame or videogame character got you into gaming? I don't know if Super Mario World hooked me well enough to say it "got me into gaming" but Twisted Metal 2, also for the PS1, certainly did the job. I played it at my cousins' house and crammed as many hours into it as I could. What videogame would you recommend to others? Kerbal Space Program. It is in a class of its own and can teach you real aerospace science. How did gaming influence your life? It helped shape other interests throughout my life. After being shown Stronghold in 2001 I found out I was deeply interested in medieval history. A more direct example would be in fostering my desire to make my own stuff, which led to my studying game design in college. It's not been all sunshine and roses, but it has been pretty awesome.

I think the game which made me decide that games are a wonderful thing that I want more of, is GTA vice city I guess What videogame would you recommend to others? I wont reccommend anything to anyone unless I know their taste How did gaming influence your life? Oh, long story short I got into a community that shaped me
What was the first video game you've played? I'm not sure specifically as when I was a really little kid I played various ones I don't remember. Probably a couple old platformers for GameCube. What was the first videogame you own? Once again I had a lot of ones early which I don't remember all that well. First notable one would probably be Pokemon Pearl. What is your all time favorite videogame character? Not sure I have one to be honest. Which Videogame or videogame character got you into gaming? Hm, you know those cheap plug in play games that Jakks Pacific made back in the early 2000's? Yeah, probably those combined with various cheap PC games (really old pc games at that). What videogame would you recommend to others? Maybe Myst for PC or DS, Magical Starsign for DS and Hotel Dusk: Room 215 for DS (that one is more of a visual novel but still). All of which I think are often overlooked. How did gaming influence your life? Acted as a distraction when I was a kid from less-than-great things and got me interested in computer security.

First Video Game I played: Elevator Spy, on my dad's ancient Mac. First video game I owned Lego Starwars original saga on ps2 Favourite videogame character Captain Price, COD Modern Warefare Game that got me into gaming COD World at War Videogame I would recommend Gmod... The things you can do in it are limitless.I once put 100 hours into it in 2 weeks. How did gaming influence my life? By taking it over... Completely

Super smash brothers melee How has gaming influenced my life? About once or twice a week I go to some smash melee/4 tournaments in which I usually win, it helps support the family and some money goes to the charity of me.
First game: Super Mario Bros 3 First game owned: Pokémon Ranger and Pearl (Best bundle ever). Favorite Character: Pokémon Trainer Red Waluigi from Mario Crocomire from Metroid Wonder Red from The Wonderful 101 Galacta Knight from Kirby And the list can go on and on, so I will stop here. Video game I recommend: The World Ends With You and The Wonderful 101. Both of them are excellent games (to me) and they are very unknown. How gaming influenced my life: They are basically my life now.
What was the first video game you've played? Nanosaur on my family's ancient mac. What was the first videogame you own? I think it was Pikmin on Nintendo Gamecube. What is your all time favorite videogame character? Undyne from Undertale, I think? She's the closest thing to a certain character of my own who I adore. I just got really emotional about Undyne playing through the game. I hated her, feared her, felt really sorry for her, eventually felt like somehow I could learn from her. Which Videogame or videogame character got you into gaming? Pikmin was what really sold me on getting truly immersed in a game with its fully realized garden world and Captain Olimar's pain at being unable to be reunited with his family. What videogame would you recommend to others? Mother 3, currently the best game I've played overall. Recently, Undertale has made a big splash and I would be remiss to not give it an honorable mention. There are just a few other titles that are even nearer and dearer to my heart: Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Pikmin 1 & 2 How did gaming influence your life? I grew close with practically all my current friends because of our shared interests in gaming. I also have gaming to thank for me becoming interested in different stories (it was Wind Waker that got me into One Piece, and from there I branched out into other anime and manga) which in turn led me to me finding many of the influences and inspirations for doing my own work as a writer. It's a big part of who I am, even if I don't play games as much as I used to. I'm still excited about occasional new releases. Looking forwards to more Zelda and Pikmin down the line, but most of all Ni no Kuni II!

I'll just say Sora from Kingdom Hearts. But I've always like Crash from Crash bandicoot lol I like Spyro too. Which Videogame or videogame character got you into gaming? Video game probably was the Mario Bros. franchise in general. That or Pokemon. I guess because those were the games that I played a ton of as a kid and I've branched out to other games and such, but that is where it all started. What videogame would you recommend to others? Buy a gamecube. It will change your life I really don't know. Umm everyone should try the Sims if you're really bored and haven't already XD. How did gaming influence your life? It's great to play with friends or alone. And helps me forget about the realities of my life XD

Oh, I've become a pretty serious gamer myself. It's a great activity to share with friends or just as a diversion.

I had a SNES growing up, and had various titles. What is your all time favorite videogame character? It's hard to pick just one. Either Genis from Tales of Symphonia, Zevran from Dragon Age, or Kazooie from Banjo-Kazooie. Which Videogame or videogame character got you into gaming? Mario in general. I have him to thank for my entire gaming career. What videogame would you recommend to others? Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Earthbound, Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie, Tales of Symphonia, Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Pokemon, The Sims (if you want a lazy day of gaming), Bayonetta, etc. My favorite games <<< How did gaming influence your life? It got me into writing. One of my stories was inspired by the mechanics of RPG games.
