I've always loved the Sims and played it on an off in-between playing real games... you know the ones where you shoot people? I'm totally addicted right now, I'm playing Sims 4 with a beautiful, totally lesbian, young adult named Lara Croft... (I may have just finished playing tomb raider) :3

Dose anyone else feel super uncomfortable when you try playing a strait couple? I find I always end up making two women together.

I used to play fairly regularly.. was one of the few computer games that I was ever interested in. I've never played Sims 4 but I do like Sims 3 and have it installed on my laptop. I used to like Sim City 4 too.. I remember my cousin showing me it some years ago and the only thing I ever wanted to do was destroy her cities with natural disasters, lol.

I usually have straight couples.. force of habit. I do have same-sex couples occasionally though. I think Sims 3 Late Night is the best expansion pack - love living in apartments rather than houses and being in a busy city rather than a quiet town.

I play every now-and-then. I actually just found the custom mods, so those are pretty cool and I'm playing a little more now.
Depends on the day, some days I'll have a same-sex couple, other days I'll have a straight couple.

I used to love playing the Sims, mostly because I liked building the houses. Someone in my Sims family always dies; one drowned, one was burned to death, another was electrocuted, and another died of smoke inhalation. It's the perfect game for someone with a God complex.

I never knew you could create gay Sims (I haven't played any of the new ones) so I've always settled with creating a basic family; one I wouldn't get too attached to considering some, most, or all of them would end up deceased before too long.

Haha, yes. I was so obsessed with my character in Sims 3 having a biological daughter, but I couldn't bring myself to having her sleep with a man, so she became a scientist and cloned herself.

I play from time to time, but mostly I just like building houses and doing mean things to my Sims like putting them in a swimming pool with no ladder.

I've played quite a bit, but mainly because I like to build big-ass, absolutely insane houses. I usually get five minutes into actually playing my Sim, get bored and go build another house.

(I may have given serious consideration over the years to making a career as an architect. I think it shows.)

The Sims is the kind of game that's refreshing and fun for the first 30 seconds then you're bored out of your mind. Kidding, its not all that bad.

I play the sims three all of the time, and yeah. All of my sims are lesbian whoops. I love how sims are just a bunch of insane, pansexual people who commonly set stuff on fire

Never played Sims 4. Sims 2 was great but I got rid of all my games ages ago because I got bored of them.

High poly mods make Sims 2 look just as good.

But yes, I agree with some of the others.... Sims games do become such a bore after a while

I feel like ts4 is in many ways, an upgraded version of ts2, and I love that

Oh, and I, like many of you, don't want to have straight sims, but still want my sims to have babies and keep the legacy going, so I found a mod called 'Aren's same sex pregnancy mod', which basically allows same-sex couples to mix their genes and have babies :icon_bigg

I also feel like ts4 is getting a lot of hate because it isn't like ts3, but that's what I love about it.
Also, people love to bitch about the lack of toddlers on the Sims-forums, but I honestly don't see the big deal. Toddlers are noisy potatoes with limbs, and I'm honestly glad to be rid of them.

I used to play 2 a lot as a kid. It made up the one half of my day that wasn't taken by elementary school. Then I got the magic expansion for 1 and the original 1. It was interesting to see where it evolved from. But nowadays I just enjoy it for the crazyness some do with it:
