Sims 4 has been updated so all the voices, walking styles and clothes can be used by everybody regardless of gender. Way to go, EA. For once I actually commend your drive to be overly PC.

  2. Although I died off of EA after they became Money Hungry.. That's probably the greatest thing they've done in a long time! :eusa_clap

I mean that makes me want to buy Sims 4 a little, but everything else about Sims 4 makes me not want to buy Sims 4 a lot. And everything else about EA makes me want to burn them to the ground and murder their executives brutally.

Naturally, I will not be applauding EA or buying Sims 4.

EA really aren't that bad. At least they know people hate them and want to get better, and they have. At the end of the day, at least they aren't Ubisoft.

I own the Sims 4. It's certainly an interesting addition. A lot of the clothing styles look good on both genders.

I don't think the Sims 4 is terrible either. I actually find myself playing it more than the Sims 3 these days - which is surprising because I was adamant that I wouldn't even buy the Sims 4 in the first place. Maybe I'm just a sucker for all things Sims-related, having played it for the past 12 years (Sims 2 will always be my baby even though I can't play it on my laptop).

Oh yeah I heard about that, I initially thought the update was just gonna be hair & that's it. Impressive that they went all out haha  I've always secretly wanted to make guy sims in drag, now I can finally experiment:icon_bigg

I'm not a massive fan of sims 4 either but good on EA. I've always wanted sims to have the abillity to cross-dress.

I actually wonder if there will be a backlash against this by the religious nutjobs.

    Oh. My. God.

EA may be known as the Devil of the video game world but this actually makes me consider selling my soul again and reinstall the unholy grail that is Origin.

They've always hated Sims, really. I mean there's been gay marriage in the same since at least Sims 2 (I never really played the first game so no idea)

I've wanted to get it for awhile because I love sims 3, but I didn't really want to buy it until the price went down for it. But because of this update I will definitely go out and buy it.

When I heard about it it sounded great but I'm wondering, why all of the hate for EA?

Some mistakes they've done in the past, like rushing games out into the market when they aren't finished, ridiculously priced DLC, launching Sim City without an offline mode and with shitty servers that couldn't even nearly handle the traffic and they're known to dabble a lot with the developers products, forcing them to change games and their artistic vision because it would sell better.

They still do all of these a fair amount, but they've gotten markedly better at it after people started to voice their outrage and they promised to get better.

Oh wow I knew about the overpriced DLCs but not about everything else, THANK YOU.
