I recently got the first Dark Souls game, and as fun as it is, it's hard, really hard. It's really confusing for a first time player but I'm sure I'll "git good." Any of you guys play the Dark Souls games or Bloodborne/Demon Souls? Which game is your favorite? and what are your tips for a scrub like myself?
I think the best advice you can get when it comes to the souls series is to just have patience and be careful. The games are hard, but they become a lot easier when you approach everything carefully. Every time you encounter a new enemy or boss, stay back, stay defensive, analyze their pattern, find an opening and strike but don't get greedy with your attacks.

I actually just met that guy! He's a cool dude, and I herd he's pretty useful for some bosses. Also that stupid demon on the castle wall was annoying to kill, no space to walk around him :bang: Deus Vult! Praise the Sun!
