    Hey guys!

Just wondering if there are any other programmers on this site. If so, what are your favourite languages?

I gotta say C++ and Java, considering they were my first languages. I like Java slightly more though.

I do some programming from time to time. I've worked with C, Java, BASIC, and even Pascal.

I'm not really the best at programming, but the only languages I'm familiar with are C# and Unityscript.

I bet you'll never guess what engine I use.

Good ol' Pascal haha! With that said, I'm only familiar with Pascal and ActionScript 3... Python is a work in progress.

Only slightly familiar with C++, and used to be pretty good at GM8 applications if that even counts, program was hella simple.

If I could actually focus and improve on it, I'd love to do something like modding Starbound as a hobby, as I heard it's relatively simple. I doubt I could ever stick on one and actually finish something, I have so many scrapped ideas and half-finished projects I get bored with. Might get more into it if I ever have a roommate who shares the interest or whatever.

Add me on to team C#. I use java the most frequently, but for some reason, i just dont like it very much.

Me and javascript are best friends though.

C#, although I have a very soft spot for Python.

I hate Javascript, even though I have to write it because I want to be employable, and all the cool kids use NodeJS these days...

I like Object Pascal. I've been messing around in it a lot recently.

Java and C# aren't bad, either.

Well, the obvious question is "favorite for what?" Each one has its strengths and weaknesses.

Generally speaking, my favorite ones to program in are C++ for transparency, speed, and clarity, and Java for ready-to-use flexibility.

I bet it is Source. It has to be. It can't be anything else.

Oh please. Everybody knows that MetroWerks CodeWarrior, running on Mac OS 9, is the best software development environment.

Not really a programmer, but I can tell you that I'm really not a fan of Java.

I have had experience with a lot of programming languages but C++ just stands out for me.
