Pokemon Go

Just downloaded the app last night...wasn't able to do much since it was night time so I wasn't able to leave the house...caught a charmander for a starter though. Not sure how much I'll be able to do with it at least at first since it's 90+ degrees here every day so I don't really feel like walking around outside...seems like a cool app though.

Won't let me log back in right now...too much traffic maybe?

My brother was hounding me yesterday to download the app. I still haven't, but I will just to check it out. Lately I've been kind of bored with Pokemon which is sad because it was my life in the 90s.

 

I kinda want a real mobile Pokemon app not just a collecting them I want to do battles

 

Well I would have stories to share...

But I'm watching my bro played. We walked all over the neighborhood in the rain for him to catch three pokemon.
Been sitting in the bedroom and he has caught 3 bedroom

 

:/ need battles, catching kinda seems lame.

 

It keeps crashing on me and my area isn't super great with having places where people can actually walk around (no sidewalks) but I'm still kinda obsessed

 

I was wondering around outside my new neighborhood for a bit and caught a few. It's something fun to do when walking around. I think that you have to be a level 5 for battles though, and I am only at 3 at the moment. So, once I level up some more I think that it will be more interesting.

 

I tried using it on my walk earlier and it didn't work very well when I was out (bad connection maybe?)...works better in my room though, most of what I've caught just showed up at my house.

 

The servers are having trouble due to the amount of people on them

Aww, they do? That's the first notably negative thing I've heard about the area. Might need to stock up before I get there then!

As for the application, I need to figure out why the heck I can't download any more so I can give it a shot, barely downloaded anything on my phone since I largely ignore it.

 

I was able to get it in Canada early because of some "not so legitimate" methods. (I got the .apk file off of a website and downloaded it on my phone.)

I have a Windows OS phone, so I'm out of the game until I go back to Samsung.

 

Having a lot of fun with it, caught an eevee and a ponyta yesterday! I'm a little disappointed I'm unable to use the camera option but ah well, the game is pretty fun regardless. If only the servers would stop crashing *shakes fist angrily*

 

Honestly not a big fan seeing as I don't have anywhere to go, no license to drive around, or any good Pokemon near me only Rattatas. Thought you would also be able to use camera too, let's just hope their still going to make major adjustments.

 

Okay. Sooooo, battles are possible. When you get to level five, you get to battle gyms. I think in the trailer, it was shown PvP will be possible (although, it may have been trading that I saw.) This game isn't focused on the user driving, it does; however, focus on walking. It certainly helps if you can drive though but isn't crucial.

 

The government here has a bunch of laws about not selling map information to private companies, which sounds great, but means that Asia is region blocked and we still don't have Pokemon Go... why.......... T.T
