haha beautiful, but people will probably install it just so that they can stomp the parade and shoot everyone there......its seriously a worry that thats a video up and coming. a really well made mod though. im glad somebody spent the time to do this
I haven't installed it myself yet, but I heard that the author made the pride crowd invincible for this reason.
That is genius. I probably will install it when my GTA IS DOWNLOADED IN 60 GODDAMN YEARS LIKE WHO MAKES A GAME THAT IS 60 FREAKING GB LIKE HECK.
The more a large, diverse world is populated with high resolution textures, the more hard drive space it'll take up. Using 60+ GB for all the textures for GTA is much better than what the Titanfall devs did. That game took up ~50GB of space because of uncompressed audio. Even losslessly compressed audio would only take up a fraction of that space, and it would have little effect on framerate.
I thought part of the appeal of GTA (besides it being a story about an ex-criminal going through relapse) was to showcase the ugliness of society, and offer the player escapism by letting them take their daily frustrations out on it. Nothing in the GTA universe is put in a positive light. How does unironically adding pride parade fit in? I'm guessing artistic cohesion isn't exactly the mod author's strong suit.
