Have you ever played a game and felt like that story will be in your heart forever? For me, it was Life Is Strange.

    I've got a couple.

    The Darkness
"You were everything to me, and all I ever did was kill you... I'm so sorry."

    Metal Gear Solid 3
"Everything she did, she did for her country. She sacrificed her life and her honor for her native land. She was a real hero. She was a true patriot."

    Metal Gear Solid 4
    "This is nice... Isn't it?"

    Life is Strange
"Don't you forget about me, Max Caulfield!"

Bioshock Infinite -- Burial at Sea
"Quand il me prend dans ses bras
    Il me parle tout bas,
Je vois la vie en rose~"

Persona 2's story ended up helping me a lot when I was depressed. Didn't always help, but it was always in my mind.
Grandia II changed the way I looked at religion from a very young age, and also desensitized me to violence. I mean, they're miniature characters, sure, but the fact remains that there were people who got POSSESSED BY THE DEVIL and GOT TURNED INTO GIANT BODILY ORGANS.
Doom also desensitized me to gory things.
Earthbound, also...though what touched me about Earthbound was knowing the full story behind Giygas, something you'd only know if you were familiar with Earthbound and its prequel, Mother 1/Earthbound Beginnings.
Phantasy Star II...the introduction and the dream sequence are two of my all time favorite pieces of writing. So chilling and atmospheric...

Gears of War 2 had one, actually.
Through the whole first game and into the second, your friend Dom is looking for his wife. He discovers that she was captured by the Locusts (the butt-ugly bad guys) and once you rescue her, you find that they tortured her and destroyed her mind. She was pale and skeletal, with a vacant stare in an almost vegetative state. Dom, normally tough and optimistic, is shattered by this, and is forced to euthanize her. He's never the same afterward and ends up doing a suicide attack in the third game.

It's unimportant in the grand scheme of the war, but the way they showed his memory of her transform into what she looked like after the torture was really disturbing.

The final battle from Mother 3 will always stay with me. When I finished it, I felt so cold.

I'm playing Dead by Daylight right now. Honestly, the more I think about the storyline the more it's unsettling to me. Stuck in an encampment with a serial killer who cuts, you, drops you, and stakes you up on a hook if they catch you.

Can get to you if you think about it too much.

Mass Effect. Definitely Mass Effect, especially when it involves Liara.

Undertale. It's gonna stay a while, maybe not forever, but a while.

I really loved that game too, it was really powerful for me especially, as a bisexual girl.

LOZ the Wind Waker defined an epic story for me, and the nostalgia is a bit overwhelming when I hear the music  A close second is Super Paper Mario (I was a big Dimentio fan), then Blue Dragon, Undertale and Earthbound.

Life is Strange for me as well. But, Beyond: Two Souls joins it, the ending was just... I dunno the words, I still think about it to this day.

The Last of Us and Papers, Please really mess me up if I think about them too much. Especially after The Last of Us: Left Behind.

Just started and I've constantly talked about but again feel it was important here the Fallout games when I was young were the first open world games I had played and the first game to just drop you in a massive sandbox and not give you any instructions it was really intimidating.

Bit deep. For actual horror I'd say BioShock 1. This War of Mine was also pretty eary to me.
