Borderlands (series but especially the second one) Fallout 3 & New Vegas Uncharted (series) Dark Souls (mainly the first, I didn't like the second one but you can try it if you want) Demon's Souls Heavy Rain Life is Strange Beyond: Two Souls Dead Space (series) Red Dead Redemption (western GTA) Alice: Madness Returns The Walking Dead Telltale games Mass Effect (series)
Catherine Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Kingdom Hearts HD remixes (1.5 and 2.5) Portal (series, though you might only find the first one on a disc called "The Orange Box") BioShock (series) Uhm...That's all I can think of right now, but I'll get back to you if I think of more.
Dark Souls Fallout New Vegas Red Dead Redemption Portal 2 All great games that I have sunk a ton of time into. But I'd rank Dark Souls over all of these, in my opinion of course. I'm currently doing my second play-through of Dark Souls as a pyromancer and it's just as fun, if not more so now that I've been through all the maddening parts before.
By the way, I just noticed this morning. Humble bundle has a bundle going on where you get a lot of games for $15. Most notably, Resident Evil HD, 0 HD, and Devil May Cry HD Collection along with what Lazuri said, Okami HD. It's definitely worth the money, Devil May Cry HD alone goes for like $20. Then at the same time, you're also donating to charity as some of the money you pay with gets donated (you get to choose how much goes). There are three tiers though, $1 tier, $12 tier, and $15 tier (this one gives you all of the games). I'm pretty sure it's only for US accounts though. I've been craking up a lot lately on the subject of pyromancers being Pie Romancers. I mean, Hollywood's vampire obsession has already proven that necromancers are indeed Neck Romancers. But back on the topic, my PS3 melted in a house fire and I never got to play the new Ratchet and Clank games but still have one disk. Are they any good compared to their PS2 counterparts? I've been very curious since I didn't get to play them.
That's brutal. I don't have any of the new Rachet and Clank games, so my answers are based on reviews. Take that as you will. Tools of Destruction got outstanding reviews, it even won a "Best PS3 game" award from SpikeTV. (Average score: about 9/10) A Crack in Time seems to have gotten pretty good reviews as well, not as high as Tools of Destruction, but still pretty good. (Average score: about 8.5/10) Into the Nexus also got pretty good reviews, though most scores were lower than of the other installments (Average score: about 8/10) Quest for Booty is the lowest rated, but even then it's...pretty good? (Average scores: about 7.5/10) Again, take that as you will, but it seems like they're alright based on that.
BTW keep an eye on persona 5 if your into high school role play games it will come out soon on ps3 and ps4 !! i played 4 on ps2 and its just AMAZING !!!(they have a major lgbt theme in the game) they said persona 5 would have openly lgbt in the main cast so that is GREAT NEWS !! but if you want to play 4 it has been released as golden on ps3 ...i cant think of other games as of yet but im getting a ps3 SOON my bro bought it to me he just didnt send it to me yet so we are both on the same boat
Uncharted 1, 2 & 3 are definitely the best games on PS3. I used to play them 24/7 back in the day jaja.
Far Cry 3 and 4, along with Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Deus Ex: Human Revolution Uncharted Series Red Dead Redemption Mass Effect Trilogy Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas Borderlands 2 Saint's Row 2
No, they're not as good as the PS2 R&C games, but I still enjoyed them a lot--they still have the same charm they used to. Honestly, the best of the new R&C games on PS3 is Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus, which I think is still only available as a download. Its biggest issue is that it's too short. Also, something that went under a lot of people's radar is that there's an R&C movie that recently came out on blu-ray. I heavily recommend it as it is absolutely fantastic.
ni no kuni is a good rpg if you like shooters theres the likes of Battlefield and all the CODs or maybe borderlands, platformer/creative side of u might like Little big planet. Uncharted and the last of us are both great from naughty dog.
