So I'll be moving out of home in a few months (woot?) and I'm going to need to purchase internet (not so woot). And of course since money will be tight, I don't want to overspend on internet usage I'm not going to be using.

So I wanted a program that tracks how much internet I use. As I'm on a network at home, I can't simply check my provider.

Does anyone know of a good (safe?) program I could use to do this?

www.internode.on.net use their internet services! They are cheap and very reliable. They have a plan thats right for you and even if you go over the limit they don't charge you extra. Don't use telstra or optus's internet stuff.

And if thats not what you're looking for sorry, i'm not sure what internet usage tracking things are out there.

But when you're studying AND working full time, $30 a month is a LOT

I suppose you do have a point, lol. I'm not sure what you could get cheaper than $30.
