Well, more or less. But it is readable. I'm now using Internet Explorer 3.0 on Windows 95 and posting on EC, hehe. This is, without any doubts, the oldest OS/browser ever to have accessed EC. Yes, I'm crazy.
I have an old computer with windows 95 and it has internet explorer 6 I think... (maybe 5) Although it was never connected to the internet. I also have a computer with windows 3.1 (I think thats what its called) but It doesnt have a mouse and is hard to use. XD
I couldn't make my Ethernet card work on Mac OS X so, no internet... and I don't have enough money to buy a Mac.
The newest IE which can be installed on Windows 95 is IE 5.5. IE 6 requires Windows 98 or greater. IE 7 only runs on XP SP2, Server 2003 SP1 and Vista.
It also runs on Netscape Navigator 4, with some trouble, but it actually looks better than with IE 3. (Posting this with Netscape 4 on Windows 95)
I just viewed EC with a text-based browser (W3M, if anyone's curious). It didn't look pretty, but I was able to navigate around the forum, just fine. The home page was a little confusing, though (it might be nice to have a simple "Enter" link on the main page, in addition to the picture). The browser is current, but as long as we were already talking about un-ordinary browerser use...
