anyone else looking forward to it? I think it looks EPIC and in case you are sitting there wondering WTF is he on about? heres the trailer: HA I TOLD YOU I COULD DO IT!! anyways it's a game set in the future, world has been torn up by nuclear war and you play as the courier, you were carrying a package across the mojave desert when someone tries to kill you and then buries you in a shallow grave, but the robot in the ad called victor digs you up and brings you to Doctor Mitchell who nurses you back to health and gives you a gun, a vault 21 jumpsuit and a pipboy 3000 (think the iphone on you wrist and can heal you and carry all of your kit... somehow) well anyone else excited?
Being a huge fan of Fallout 3, (haven't had the pleasure of the previous games) I'm quite looking forward to this.
I love Fallout 3 to death. I'll definitely but New Vegas on day one. It might be better, actually. As long as they make it so it has even MORE replay value. I haven't played the earlier games, BTW.
err after fallout 3 i played fallout (the first one) and it was a totally different experience. Can't wait for this one, i hear it's being made by the guys who made the first two
I loved Fallout 3 and am looking forward to this. I hope you'll be able to use the user created mods from fallout 3 in New Vegas. Oh and since this is made by Obsidian, expect a lot bugs!
I was really going to wait, but I was weak and bought it anyway. And so far, I'm really enjoying it! It's fun returning to the West Coast (if you're a veteran of the first two fallouts, at least), and seeing how the New California Republic is doing. I'm having the impression it's a tad more difficult than F3, especially if you're playing hardcore, where you have to keep track of food, water and sleep. I also found it pretty interesting that you can make a gay character (or, as the game calls it: the "confirmed bachelor" perk, but the dialogue options are pretty clear about what it means ). Suffice to say I totally went for that opportunity xD I'm only in the starting stages, though, so I hope the game can keep the good first impression up!
