So, I own a GameBoy Color, a GameCube, a DS, and a Wii. They're fun enough, but I've kind of grown tired of them. I also have an Xbox 360 but I have literally no games for it and was wondering which ones I should buy. I hate shooters and anything first person so that knocks Halo out of the question. I've been paying so little attention to games coming out that basically the only other 360 game I can think of is FFXIII. I've never really played any RPGs beyond Paper Mario, but I despise the one FF game I own (FFIVDS). Anyways, this thread isn't about FF. What games should I buy for Xbox 360 (or for any of the Nintendo consoles I own, for that matter)?

    Dead Rising
    Left 4 Dead 1 (and/or 2)
    Mass Effect 1 and 2

Eh, I'll think of more later.

Guess you could knock out L4D if you truly hate FPSs.

    From the XBLA:
    Geometry Wars 2
The Upcoming Limbo looks amazing (It's basically the reason why I'm gonna plug my 360 back in)
    Trials HD

Also, supposedly Lost Odyssey is supposed to be pretty good. But I've never played it.

Star Ocean The Last Hope and Tales of Vesperia are both amazing for 360 and Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn is equally amazing for WII oh and Lost Odyssey is fantastic but a little short despite having 4 discs

^ I was somewhat lost with Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn on a few parts, as I hadn't played the prequel for the Gamecube, but overall, it was understandable, just made me confused. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I personally think the best game at the moment on the DS is Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume.

Bayonetta, RPG with shooting mixed in but no stupid targeting reticules or shit like that. But it's more if you don't mind playing a badass witch who wields badass guns, can transform, and wields the powers of hell

The Naruto games are fun, if you're a fan of Naruto I mean...Specifically Naruto The Broken Bond's fun. And Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 will be coming out in September for 360.

Fable 2 has actually now been released in Platinum Hits for under $20. It actually has more than the original Fable 2 apparently had. So it's quite nice apparently :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

No one has mentioned this yet?
    Dragon Age: Origins.

I'm practically obsessed with it. I've played through the game several times now.
Plus, it's a gay-friendly game since you can choose lovers of either gender!

When people ask what games to get for a certain system, I try to mention the console exclusives, because you can get so many games on multiple consoles.

Fable is the only exclusive worth while I think that is actually an xbox exclusive. The xbox is just a shooter console and doesn't have many exclusives really in my opinion. There are other non-shooters for the console too but are cross-platform that you'd enjoy as well.

    Borderlands was amazing
Halo Reach is gonna be the shit
Mass Effect 1 & 2 are too good for words (ME2 is my favorite game of all time)
    Grand theft auto 4
    Red Dead Redemption
    COD:MW2
Prototype, this game is kinda unknown but is one of the most straight up fun games I've played
Perfect Dark Zero, this was a launch title so you can get it for dirt cheap. It's got a shitty story mode but the multiplayer is really fun

    On XBLA
Castle Crashers, straight up hack and slash goodness
Bionic Commando Rearmed, old school and amazing
Splosion Man, amazing game, simply amazing
