DotA is the original on the platfom of warcraft 3 the game is awesome but the graphics is horrible HoN is too competitive and has the worsst gaming community ever but the game is pretty cool LoL as far as i have heard is great but personally i think that it doesnt have the original DotA feel, like when you achieve a triple kill the sound isnt that great... if you know what i mean DotA2, because of the overwhelming popularity of DotA the creators have redesigned the game to be in itss own platform...... Am i a DotA fan, yes. Will i play the mimic counterparts, no.
i know everything is derived from dota, that was the first thing i played before HoN or LoL, i was playing this since i was 10 or 11 i cant remember, i use to hate the fact that there were other copy cats also but i really like HoN mostly cause im a typical male when it comes to wanting to get better, besides HoN is way harder than Dota and LoL is really in its own league when it comes to skill (no denies whats up with that?) oh well their all fun anyways.
I play HoN off and on and you all are right on the competitiveness level. Insane, but hey if your playing might as well play to win right?
i wonder if they will have a rating system in dota2 like in HoN my HoN rating is 1672 mm and 1702 pub
