Literally, they are softwares which grant users freedom to use, to redistribute and to modify (correct me if im wrong :icon_wink ) They are of course free of charge Have a nice day everyone(&&&)
I already use Firefox, Thunderbird, Audacity and Filezilla which are listed there. I also use PDF Creator which I didn't see there. There is a lot of good open source software for Windows out there.
