If you guys are willing to help, I'm having a problem with the desktop, I found a clean disc of the game KotOR 2 and it installed, but it's giving me a weird message every time I try to play saying that it has to close. It says something odd and I'm confused. Like I said, it's on my desktop.

    It says:

    • Warning Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family 128MB
Graphics Recommended: ATI Radeon 9200 9r better, NVidia GeForce4 Ti or better [128 MB VRAM]

Any help would be much appreciated

Well, im not exactly ''Sober'' so to speak, but it sounds like your intergrated graphics card isnt powerful enought. Try upgrading your graphics card.

Well, by the sounds of it, its wants a ''ATI Radeon 9200 9r'' or better. Which is a fairly powerful card, where as it calims your running on a 128mb, which isnt too powerful. or at least thats what a drunk person thinks.

It's also odd because this game worked on this same exact computer just fine, earlier this year, then there were viruses and we had to get the computer fixed and now next to nothing works.

Try updating your graphics card driver. It worked for me for the sims 3. it didnt like my card, then i upgraded the driver, and it was happy with it.

Google [graphics card] drivers and then get the latest from the manufacturer website
Try changing ingame setting down aswell, that might help? Or if your OS has changed, try compatability setting (right cick -} properties -} compatability)

I'm trying it out, but how long does it usually take? Because it's still saying Installing Component... and I don't really understand what it means when it says:

"Before System Requirements Lab can analyze this computer you need to give your permission to download an ActiveX or Java Plug-in component called SysReqLab.cab, SRLApplet or System Requirements Lab from Husdawg, LLC"

Umm give permission, it needs to install ActiveX or Java plug in. It's a common program needed to run certain things..

Just about everything stated above should fix your problem. If as you stated it ran before on the same pc build than its either

    1) you need to update your card<---- mentioned above
    2) there has been a game fix that doesn't allow your card to run the required software. i.e a higher directx level

as far as this is concerned if you are trying to run this from a .exe you downloaded to your pc, try right click > "run as administrator"

    Hope everything works
