Ok so a while back my laptop broke, and my mom gave me hers. They are the same make but hers is newer. I installed the sims3 on it yesterday then installed the sims 3 world adventures, but when i wennt to play it updated itself and when that was done it said my base game was incompatible with the the expansion pack. I cant download anything either on to it. Do i need to uninstall world adventures and do the updates for the base and then reinstall it?

Manually download and Update sims 3 to the last patch, then install WA.
