Hi guys, dunno if anyone can help me, but basically recently my battery pack has been slightly falling out. The computer is still running, but from what I'm seeing, the white backing is falling off from the battery. Any idea of who to take it to? Like I think there might be an Apple Store in my city but its kinda far from me and I don't have a car to get there. Could I take it to something like a Future Shop or Best Buy maybe? Let me know if any Mac users have an idea. I purchased it in June 2009 and I believe I got the Mac warranty from Best Buy which I think is 3 years but I could be wrong.
check on line, these should be more than one apple store in the city. some computer shops that sells a few apple products can also help. but if it's just the white cover of the batter falling off and not the battery going apart, you can just glue it together. i know from experience in cleaning laptops, the little clips sometimes just break for nothing. If it's still under warranty, take it to the shop you got it from, they will gladly exchange the battery
Well I got it from Best Buy so I guess that's what I do. I checked and actually the closest Apple Store for me is in Waterloo, Ontario. :S
get online with the guys at best buys and see what the instructions are about the battery... maybe even write them an e-mail... they should respond
