RIM says BlackBerry outages started in Europe - Technology & Science - CBC News

Anyone else thinking blackberry/rim is on it's way out?

RIM will around for a good long while. Not one else has the traction they have in the enterprise and public sector markets. That said those markets are already saturated. Without major updates to their platform to draw in consumers RIM won't have any growth. Which won't be pretty, they'll continue to chug along for a while, go through a few rounds of layoffs and then get bought out.

I really liked my Blackberry better than my Android phone. It was great at email, the problem is the lack of Apps.

RIM is starting to go belly up. considering they had 15% in cutbacks to employment they just arent as good as they used to be and can't compete with androids and apple products
