Grand Theft Auto V

I'm hoping for more big open areas and a huge map like San Andreas. In fact, San Andreas would be sweet. But it'll probably be Vice City, unless they go a new route, like a city not in America.

 

I also hope it goes back to it's roots of whacky missions and somewhat corny-ness... as most apparent in Vice City and San Andreas (all the movie references xD). GTA IV was too serious and too separate almost =/

i heard from somewhere that location might be washington dc, the reason for the dollar sign.

 

If they have the balls to set it in San Andreas again, that will be interesting. San Andreas was the best game in the franchise and it'll be a mother fucker to top it.

I'm looking forward to this. What I would really like is a re-imaged version of Vice City (best GTA game ever in pretty much every aspect for me) and a good balance between the fun gameplay of the GTA III era games and humour with the realism of GTA IV.

 

and the trailer is out, and looks brilliant, very colourful. and its LOS SANTOS!!!

 

i'm going to admit that i was very disappointed when i found out that they were only going to do los santos and not the other cities that were in san andreas but hey.. one out of three cities as long as they make the game very interesting isn't bad at all.

 

You obviously haven't looked into the trailer enough. From what I see, I see the 5 freeway which goes to San Francisco and I see the windmill farms that are in the desert. I also see license plates that say "San Andreas". I'm fairly sure we're getting more than just Los Santos.

Also, I'm looking forward to figuring out if Tommy Vercetti is in the game because it seems that it's him in the trailer.

my thing is as long as they have the same gameplay features that gta sa had and what gta 4 didn't have, then i won't be mad at them. i'll still buy the game though. maybe the other cities will be able in an expansion pack. that would be cool.

 

Well, it's more than just Los Santos. It looks like we'll get other surrounding parts. I'm personally fine with that, as they've stated this is their "biggest" ambition to date.

 

yeah, i hope that it's as exciting as san andreas because that game is hard to top.
