After beating Arkham City a couple of weeks ago, I was left with the shock at the ending but the core of the shock didn't come in until after I saw that

But anyway, I was thinking of other games that left you with that initial O_O moment before it sunk in what happened. Another time that I can remember this is the moment when Shiek was first revealed to be Princess Zelda or when Princess Peach transformed into the Shadow Queen.

It was already mentioned but the twist in Bioshock was pretty crazy. Kind of disappointing how the game only went downhill from that point. I didn't really like the actual ending, of course I only saw the "good guy" ending.

Honestly, most of Skyrim is up there in my most shocking so far. The game has blown my mind worst then a [OFFENSIVE ANALOGY RELATING TO FELLATIO]

But I'll say my most O_O moment was seeing a dwarven ruin for the first time. It's come a long way from the rusted out box to box rooms that Morrowind featured that's for sure.

But since I'm guessing these posts are more for narrative twists then just being awe-struck by aesthetics I'll have to say the prize goes to:

But honetly, one that has not been mentioned and VERY surprising for an art-snob like me was when
