Has anyone here played/plays Runescape?
I used to play but I got hacked and lost everything so I quit (for like the fourth time), but I'm thinking about continuing playing.

I'm pretty sure every middle school boy, an even some girls, go through a Runescape phase. At least it was that way where I went to school.

I haven't played in absolute ages, though, and I was never super into it when I did.

I did on and off since 2001, about 6 months after it was opened to the public, up until about the end of 2010. Jagex started pissing me off in the last 2 years and I got fed up with them.

The best era was in 2003, when they were allowing people to play the RS2 beta. Was so exciting being able to make runes instead of having to buy them from the Mage Arena in the wilderness.

I used to until I got Guild Wars.

Now that GW2 is nearing completion I have deserted Guild Wars and thinking Runescape may fill an old void....the fact I can remember my old name and password should mean something...

I used to play, but I didn't like the way it looked or played (A lot of clicking is involved) So then I try WOW and I really enjoyed it, so now i'm a WOWer

HAHAH the guys I was around 8 at school, were all Runescape nerds. Back then I didn't know that Varrok even existed haha. I've quit at about 70 something. I was member for a few times too but it didn't make it more fun, just more confusing. :P

i used to be hooked to it! i liked it even more when i played with the guy i liked. i remember i did get hacked one time cuz i was so gullible and said what my password was. i got bored after i completed all but 1 of the free missions. i never did get past level 30-something

I used to years and years ago. probably about a decade, but it got boring and frustrating as I leveled up and it was such a pain to do everything. Eventually I gave everything to a student I tutored who had mentioned he played runescape. Man those were some good times though, playing with my friends.

I had a level 93 Knight (with 60 range and 50 magic it think) but I got hacked and lost everything about 3 years ago so now I am played LOTRO

I used to play it with some friends back in middle school, but I could never really get too into it because of the crappy gameplay. Then came along every other MMORPG out there and I was hooked. Its so bad that every so often I still "crave" playing WoW
