So I heard Rockstar Games is making Grand Theft Auto 5. I can't wait for it to come out! :icon_bigg Does anybody know the release date? I heard it was in October, is that true?
Im not sure of the date but im def. most excited for the customizable and silenceable weps. Its gonna be oodles of fun
It's probably coming out early next year. April 2013 would be my guess. I'm excited for the return of planes & of course LA + surrounding areas!
The last GTA I played was Vice City about 10 years ago (although I did play San Andreas for about 20 mins at my cousin's house). Are the new ones any good?
Yes they are. San Andreas is my favorite. I can't even begin to explain how many hours of my life went into that game haha. And yeah in my opinion it's the best GTA so far. GTA IV is good too, love the graphics, and its the first GTA that the characters can actually point their fingers individually and stuff instead of using a whole hand to point at something lol.
I WISH october, but I doubt it considering the game wasn't even shown off at E3 D: I just hope it's an improvement of gta iv. I HATED that game!
I don't believe it is for the next generation of consoles. Amazon is already selling pre-orders for GTA V on the PS3 and Xbox 360. Also, on the Wal-Mart website they previously had the release date listed in October (or maybe November I forget) but they later removed the date. I believe that is how the October/November release rumor started. I have no idea if the October/November date is correct or not
Yeah GTAIV was a massive disappointment for me. Sine it's release I have put more hours into GTA San Andreas than GTAIV...which kinda says it all..
I don't get the hate for GTAIV. Sure, San Andreas is better but IV was extremely well written and fun to play. The expansion packs gave the game new life as well.
Yeah, I went to GameStop and the guy said GTA V would be coming out next year. Not sure what month, though.

UPDATE: Expected release date for GTA V is September 15th, 2013. Checking out the website and the YouTube videos, it looks amazing. One of the few games where I feel I get my money's worth, personally. I have been out of the loop, and the fact that multiplayer will be created by the developer is awesome. Wasn't aware it was already available on GTA IV.
