Favourite type of game?

MMOs (which I guess are RPGs), RPGs and RTS's are my favs.

 

Strategy and simulation games weeping uncontrollably.

 

Yeah RPGs are Winning ^_^

 

RPG's and 4X's (which are RTS in a way)

 

Hard to choose between RPG and fighting, but I'll give fighting games the edge.

 

I probably would have chosen rhythm games if it was on there, but I do love a good RPG. I love character building, I love exploring the game's world, and I love games that offer me a choice of combat styles, and RPGs usually fit that bill. I especially love games that reward you for going off the beaten path and seeing what sights there are to see in the world, and RPGs have that in spades.

 

Fighting. RPGs come in a close second and would probably win if it were not for my lack of patience for them.

 

RPG's are fun but i like platforming the best...how can you not like sonic or mario?

 

Well, out of those, I like RPG's (mainly strategy games or things like turn based combat) horror, and platforming. But I voted for horror since it hasn't gotten any yet, and Silent Hill is one of my favorite series.

 

RPG's that allow for you to personalize the experience. I used to like the turn-based stuff, but have been slowly drifting away from them. What I really appreciate are games that mix genres a bit. Like Mass Effect is an RPG, but is clearly also a shooter. Skyrim is an RPG, but in no way the turn-based model of it.

Overall, I'll stick to a game as long as it has a wealth of content. I voted for None of the Above.

 

RPGs! If it has any type of level system and stats then I'm game for it ^^

 

I also like dating sims.

 

I love RPGs, mainly western ones like Elder Scrolls, Mass Effect, and Fallout, but JRPGs are amazing as well Platformers would be a close second, followed by shooters.

 

I really love RPGs, both western and eastern. I like all RPGs. They're so much fun, but I do prefer RPGs that allow you to make your own character. Those are usually western.

 

I'm torn between RPGs and fighters, but I grew up playing Virtua Fighter, DoA, Power Stone, Tekken, and SSBM. I had to give the upper hand to fighting games.

 

I chose RPG's, but I also love playing shooters and racing games. I grew up more with games like Final Fantasy and stuff like that though, so I guess I like them a bit better.
I pretty much never play video games anymore, but this is if I were to play one.

I really enjoy Rpgs, except for most Final Fantasy games because I really suck at them, I prefer the Earthbound series because it is amazing and so odd and it really strays from the boring unoriginal concepts of most Rpgs that have been repeated a billion times over.

I also enjoy fighting games like Mortal Kombat, Street fighter, and Super Smash Bros

And I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Castlevania series, it's really one of the only platformer games I really enjoy

 

I love RTS and TBS, i lose so many hours of my life on them. Civilization, Sins of a solar empire, C&C, Supreme commander, theyre all so good.

But my favourite game(s) of all time is without a doubt the Mass Effect series. I have played and replayed so many times and never get bored. So i guess i'll vote for RPG
