I need a little help. My computer is acting funny. My screen is flashing on and off. And then it starts beeping. And I have to remove the battery many times just to get it to work. I don't know what's causing this. Can this be a software problem or is my computer broken. My computer is only a month old.

    run virus scan?
have you defragment/ check for errors?

if those come out ok, might be hardware problems

Sounds like a hardware problem. Faulty memory or fault graphics card.

    Is it under warranty?

Yes but to fix the screen alone would cost 385.00 and it price of the computer was 379.00. I don't have the money to fix it

I would take it back, they should fix it for free. Is it a laptop? and where did you buy it?

Most computers usually work fine, but some, including one that my mom bought, have something wrong with them. It can range widely, from speakers not working, to computer won't boot. Your problem should have an easy fix, and that would be to take it back to Best Buy, and return it, and get a new one. Some components in the computer can be faulty sometimes, and you just happened to get unlucky :tantrum: Sorry about that. If you can still return it, go and do it, because if your receipt is expired or whatever, they wont let you return it, costing you a lot of grief, possibly money, and you still end up with a crap computer. I hope you get it worked out.

You might want to tread lightly. Hardware problems, if it is one, will haunt you. Sometimes they will show, sometimes they will not. But they are still problems.

If I were you, I'd run some memory checks and defragment the HD just in case.
