Only half way through Anor Londo

Not looking forward to Ornstein and smough. I've heard nightmare stories.

Loved demons souls and mad about dark souls on 360. So addicted at rolling new characters and roll playing on there. Love my bloodreeper!

I love both the games. Shame they didn't fix the framerate issue on pc, or I would have bought Prepare to Die edition on there.

My issue is the clunky ass controls in both games.

They're interesting games. I have Demon Souls. I semi-enjoy it. It's really catered to a very specific audience. From what I can gather from my experience its geared towards people who are very patient, cool-headed, and aren't afraid of losing to the computer. In other words - the older hardcore gamers where when games weren't forgiving at all. Don't expect to become some extremely powerful character that can plow through everything in this game.

Just a note on the Demon Soul intro trailer, it doesn't accurately portray gameplay.

I actually have been considering picking Demon Souls up since its only $10 at my Gamestop, and it looked pretty neat. I didn't know Dark Souls was related to it though, and I've heard good things about that one. I heard they're difficult and require patience and strategy, but that actually makes them sound more fun to me :icon_bigg

I friggin love the both of those games. If you dont have it get it, especially if you love challenges. I'm on ng+ of Dark Souls right now, and lovin it. Lately I've been trying to play online more because I want to help others beat bosses and I also want to gain pvp experience. Oh and also I like the lore they put into these games, it's really interesting. I'm going to stop talking now because I could probably go on forever haha

I first started playing when my friend gave up on it and challenged my gaming skills, he ended up letting me have the game and after ALOT of annoying deaths and satisfying boss kills I finished it and loved it.

I personally was shocked that skyrim won best game of the year over dark souls, I beat skyrim in a few days compared to dark souls which took forever

Darksouls serves a very niche demography that love difficult games. And geeze, darksouls is damn difficult. But it is that feeling of overcoming difficulties that makes everything worth it.

Just ordered my Dark Souls Prepare to Die edition. Such a fool for getting rid in the first place. Can't wait tho, it'll tide me over until Dark Souls 2.

I own dark souls, TONS OF FUN definitely worth the rage, and I am the type of person who rages lol. And although the co-op system can be a pain in the ass sometimes, when it works it is super fun with your friends or just random people on the internet.
