Favorite Game Type

Nice!

I absolutely love Action RPGs, where there`s action and combat, but you can influence the storyline, what is said and done with your own choices, as well as choose what moral or lack thereoff your character should have. Like Kotor I/II, the Mass Effect series, etc. Those are definitely my fave type of game.

Also RPGs like Skyrim and KoA: Reckoning. It`s fun and non-predictable, when you can choose how to play the game, what kind of abilities to have, what kind of soldier/fighter you want to play with. And when there`s beautiful scenario to boot, it`s awesome.

In addition, I do have a love for the horror genre, but more the Resident Evil type with guns and stuff, than for example Silent Hill, where all you get to defend yourself with is a stick! I don`t like feeling helpless.

As long as there is a good storyline, a coherent and interesting plot, nice scenario and decent characters/voice-acting, then I am in a pretty happy place

 

I really like RPGs! Those are my favourite, any game that has a good storyline and isn't too easy. I have always liked Final Fantasy and Legend of Dragoon, games like that.

I also really like first person shooters. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is one I constantly go back to.

 

RPGs and adventure games tend to be my favorites, RPGs because I love character building, adventure games because I love exploring the game world. Put elements of both in a game and I'm sold!

 

JRPGs are my favorite!

 

Sports games are probably my favorite. But I do love some RPGs (Fallout series, Skyrim, Dragon Age, etc.) and open world action/adventure games (Red Dead Redemption, GTA).

 

Sports, first-shooters, and arcade games.

 

Open world RPG's i love being able to create a character and create the story for them and they last so much longer i hate being done with a game in a week

 

RPGs for the win.

 

GTA style do what the hell I want is my sort of game, then FPS, then driving. I am afraid I get bored with RPG's.

 

Adventure and Platformer's are my absolute 2 favorite I think. Survival Horrors are pretty close to the top of the list also.

GTA:V got a release date finally! It's coming in September, I can't wait!

 

I love RPGs and action/adventure games. Anything with a good story. I'll play a shooter every now and then too.

 

Rpg's I adore them!

Other than that, I like and enjoy a little bit from every other genre.

 

Fighting games followed by RPGs.

 

Fighting games, racing games (I'm not good at them), RPGs (despite rarely ever finishing them...), Action RPGs (like the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance series).

 

Strategy, simulation, adventure, action-adventure, RPG.

I like games with some depth to them, so typically platformers, racing games, shooter games, and fighting games don't hold my attention for long. (Some exceptions though, like Super Smash Bros Brawl, and some Mario or Sonic games, maybe Halo/CoD/007 games)

Sports games I really don't have any interest in.

 

JRPGs, action RPGs, anything that has some in-depth character customisation to get me in the roll of who I'm playing. I like to fully immerse and feel the game. My all-time fave is Dark Souls; waiting impatiently for Dark Souls 2.

 

Pretty much this. I love character customization with in depth story lines.

 

MMO, RPGs. Like World of Warcraft, or SWTOR

 

JRPGs. Especially those with character creators, which is something I'm extremely fond of, and you don't see very often from Japan.
