    Playstation 2 games cannot be played on a PS1 console, but most PS1 games can be played on a PS2 console.

    Though honestly, most PS2 consoles you can get from a pawn shop for like 5-10 dollars.

    Can you play your Wii games on the NES? Of course not. How could the older technology run the newer technology? Then nobody would buy the new one
