Anybody here play Arma 2/excited for Arma 3? I could never touch Call of Duty or Battlefield again after playing this game for awhile. It requires a HUGE investment of effort, because it is the most realistic war sim this side of joining the actual military. Not only that, but it's got ALL the toys: planes, tanks, drones, sniper rifles, technicals, grenade launchers, you name it. Combine that with realistic ballistic trajectories and real-world combat tactics, it's just tons of fun. And that's not even touching the modding capability. Anybody ever heard of DayZ? you can actually buy arma 3 right now. it's available on steam. It's in alpha right now but when the game releases you'll get the full game.
I saw that, actually. It's still fairly expensive though (~30 euros if I'm not mistaken, so around 60 USD) but I'm definitely going to buy it if I can justify getting rid of that amount of money.
I've just bought Arma II but have yet to play the actual game (looking forward to for sure), I've just been addicted to the Day Z mod haha
Oh yes yes yes ^^ I LOVE Arma 2. Almost as much as Scott Pilgrim. Wait... what about... Scott Pilgrim in Chernogorsk?! That would be amazing! ^^
