I was just wondering what the first computer and or videogame you ever played was.

    Here's mine

    Computer: Bugdom

    Console: Mario Kart 64.

    Still like both of them.

That would be the original Super Mario Bros. for the NES. It also came with Duck Hunt.
    Good times, good times.

Yeah, SMB for NES probably. Maybe there was something on the TI99/4A before that? I can't remember.

    YES!

Duck Hunt was fun, when the gun worked at least...

My first console game was Super Mario Bros as well, but I can't remember if it was SMB 1 or SMB3.

First PC game was either Rayman (by Ubisoft) or a really weird "Troll" game that came on a floppy.

By "Troll", I'm referring to those:

I LOVED Pangea Soft. Still a great company, IMO.

Fun question, though harder to answer than I first thought.

Well, 1st console game is easy -- Atari Donkey Kong & Frogger (don't remember which I played first). It was inherited from my big brother when he joined the military when I was 8 ... mid-80's time frame.

First arcade game must have been at a place called Show Biz (b4 Chuck-E-Cheese). I think I was about 6-7, & loved the car racing game. Pac-Man must be mentioned also (same time frame). There was a sub-shop near my mom's work & they had a Pac-Man table -- it was an actual table & a padded bench seat with the game under the glass -- 'totally rad' :icon_bigg It could be played by 1 or 2 players. There were controls on both sides of the table. I rarely had more than 50 cents any one time -- a whole dollar if my mom was feeling generous, OR if I didn't spend my lunch money on silly things like lunch. I would beg the sub-shop owners to do chores like clean their bathroom & sweep their floor for Pac-Man money. I'd get about 2-3 dollars. That got me several plays & a coke. They'd only do that if they weren't busy though.

1st computer game was at school in 5th grade -- we had Apple computers. We played Oregon Trail. We also made pictures; I don't remember specifics, except for a lot of "go to" commands. The next yr I got my own computer & managed to get a program smuggled in with bar room games like pool & darts. I got it from one of my brother in laws. He promised me a game called Doom, but he never delivered. I really missed out on that one! I didn't see that game till it was way too out dated for me to like -- but I would have loved it when it was new.

My first game would had to have been Pokemon Stadium on Nintendo 64, but I kinda part-owned that console with my sister so...

The first game that was given to me would've been Lord of the Rings: Return of the King on PS2  (Still have it )

The first game that was actually mine was Frogger 3D on the Playstation, circa 1998. Fun for about five minutes, and that's with the easy amusement of an eight-year old.

It wasn't my choice, actually. I got hooked on video games for good when I got to play Twisted Metal 2 at my cousin's a few months to a year prior. But that was too violent for my conservative mother, who was appalled at the thought of players actually trying to blow each other up. And yet unsupervised, I got to play all the Mortal Kombat and other comparative blood fiestas that I wanted lol.

And now here I am, still not having outgrown vidya games (especially violent ones XD), and I'm not a depraved maniac either.

Bugdom? That was the name of that game? Shit, I remember playing that back in 2002 or so, having long forgotten the name of it.

When I was born my parents had a SNES with a bunch of assorted Mario games and Pac Man. It became mine very quickly. The first game I remember being given was Pokemon Blue with a teal colored Gameboy Color.

My dad bought us a PS1 for Christmas(We had asked for a N64, but he got them mixed up >_>) and a slew of games: Twisted Metal, Tekken, Primal Rage, Siphon Filter, pretty much each "98" sports game, and a lot of others that I can't remember. Though I techinically shared it with my brother, so my first games were Pokemon Gold and Silver.

Me too! All that violence from an early age and I turned out fine.
    *twitch*

Also King's Quest (not sure which number) and Monkey Island, although it was mainly watching my brother play them, sitting on his knee when I was about 6 months old. Monkey Island 2 is still my favourite game to this day.
