Hello all! :smilewave Figured I should introduce myself before jumping into discussion. My name's MoonlitWater. I realized I was Bi at age 17. I've been a member of some GSAs or online communities throughout the years, but nothing extremely active. Hoping I can get the support I need here!
Hallo MoonlitWater, Welcome to EC. Nice meeting you. Hope you enjoy your stay here. If you have problems or question, just hit us up on the forums and we'd gladly help you.
Cats cats cats cats cats! *ahem* Um, welcome to EC, Moonlit Water, and I hope you have a good stay here! May I enquire as to who the cats on your profile are?
Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! ^_^ Some family member's cats. The fat kitty passed several years ago (he lived until 15 years old, at least), but I always thought it was an adorable picture. The smaller one and the bigger one sleeping in opposite sized beds, hehe. I'm a huge Simpsons fan. Figured I should represent somehow.
Thanks! ^_^ Love your Mitch Hedberg sig! Just wondering, does it sometimes take awhile for thread replies considering all the different time zones? I posted my coming out story (and asked for some needed advice) in I think the appropriate subforum, but haven't had any replies yet.
Hello. I was referred here by MoonlitWater. Contrary to what it may seem, my username is unrelated to hers; mine's a nickname from elsewhere. I'm what would probably technically be called bisexual, or, "bisexual enough" as I guess I'd call it. I never really identified as bisexual until other people started making a deal out of it -- mostly stuff I see on the internet like "Do bisexual men exist?". Uh, yes? And I still barely do, because it's not like I'm crazy about every or even most men I see -- as if people who are straight are attracted to every or even most guys/girls they see. I never "came out", nor feel that I have to, any more than I feel I should "come out" about the fact that I like long showers and play video games. My sexuality is something that almost never comes up in my everyday life -- my closest friends happen to know my proclivities only because it comes up during "Damn, that guy/girl's hot!" moments, and who talks about stuff like that with anybody but their buds? I don't see straight guys talking about hot girls with their parents or coworkers. I've never felt like I needed support, so this is my first online community of this sort. I'm here more to help others by sharing my experiences and mentality.
Well I don't know if you mean you're not extremely active or the forums you frequent, but it's not manditory here I can tell you that much. You want good activity drama-free, you've come to the right place. Welcome to EC! Every new person gets a free nuzzle from this furry so....*nuzzles*. Enjoy your stay here! (*hug*)
Welcome aboard! (*hug*) Yeah, that's what I meant. Okay, cool. I've seen drama first hand in a GSA, it wasn't pretty. Welcome to EC! Every new person gets a free nuzzle from this furry so....*nuzzles*. Enjoy your stay here! (*hug*) Thanks! (*hug*) Man there's a lot of hugging going on. lol
GSA = Gay Straight Alliance. High schools and Colleges tend to have some form of them. Granted the drama I saw was some weird in-fighting about the club's goals, but it seemed like pointless fighting (instead of fighting, why not talk calmly like adults?) either way.
