Greetings from Manila!

Hi there, I'm a young professional living in Manila, Philippines.
I was as straight as a ruler before not until my gender-confused best friend and I developed deeper feelings for each other. He came from a conservative christian family and he is ego-dystonic (if given a chance to curb his homosexual urges he will do it). Despite the fact that he hated his self too much, I am his first romantic /sexual partner.

To make the long story short, our affair was discreet and brief, we broke up because he thinks what we are doing is immoral and his parents will disown him. Staying in our relationship is an acceptance of his homosexuality (he is a hypocrite)

Our relationship made me change my world view in love and sexuality - the soul is genderless and we love someone for who he is and not because of his genitals/gender.

 

Thank you guys for your warm welcome. Appreciated I am constantly looking for similar experiences not only to help myself but to help me understand my partner. He has been a victim of gender minoritising, experienced sexual assault, insults and social constraints for possesing a 'soft' masculinity.
