    Hello everyone!
    I just signed up here and lurked for maybe an hour. Seriously, I'm not too good with lurking, so here is my first post. A little about me: I'm Dutch, 27 years old and a bit out of the closet... Like with 1 leg. The people that need to know about my sexuality, know I'm bisexual.
    I never really had a coming out like a lot of people have. I was thinking of telling my mother when she asked me if I "wasn't just a lesbian". After I explained to her about all the other sexualities and that I was bisexual, my mother responded with "oh".
    My wonderful coming out to my mother. :dry:
    Anyway, for a long time, I had in mind that I wasn't exactly the girly girl. I tried it, with dresses/skirt and make up (got to give me credit for trying), but that just wasn't me. After I saw the documentary of Chaz Bono, I realised it was like that with me. I read a lot about transgenders and it made me realise that the gender they gave me when I got born, isn't the gender I'm suppose to be.
    At the moment, I'm trying to find a good way to tell my mother and my brother. I saw people coming out of the closet by baking a cake and writing "I'm gay" on it, but that wouldn't work for me. My mother doesn't like sweet things too much and my brother is on a strict diet at the moment. :tantrum:

    I feel where you're coming from, never felt all that great being a girl, myself, once I realized I was attracted to them. Plus, a lot of them were straight... And I almost considered becoming a guy, for a while. Oh, but now I'm rambling a bit. Anyways, welcome to the site. ^^
