    It's a forum, so people generally make things called threads on topics and make posts in those threads. You've created a thread right here, for instance.

    People also can chat through wall messages. If you decide to apply to become a full member, which is easy and free (Must have 50+ posts, must have been a regular member for 2+ weeks), and then get approved, you can then also use the chat room as well as Private Message (PM) any other full member. You can also PM any staff member at any time.
