Howdy

Hey everyone,

I'd like to introduce myself before I post anything. The main reason I've registered here is to get some perspective on myself and hopefully meet some good people. I'm 23, gay, and only have a toe outside the closet. I'm stuck living at home right now in a small town and am desperately unhappy that I can't have my own life and just be out and proud (super religious family). I actually work with a few gay people, but my other little obstacle is that I'm super shy and don't know how to make friends. :bang: Seriously, sometimes I feel like my personality is bound and gagged inside me while my autopilot takes the wheel. Anyways, I've been thinking about joining a forum for a long time, and today I got up the courage to just do it. I want to get over my fears and start living life.
