Hi guys, i'm so happy to join Empty Closets, after years of ignoring and locking my truth self, i finally got loose and came out, before i couldn't watch myself in the mirror, because I thought I was unnatural and evil and I would bring shame to all my family and friends, but this month I let it all out and started to be who I am without shame to self. I came out to my two best friends and they were so supportive, I haven't came out to my family yet, but one day I will and i'll definitely keep you guys posted. Now, i wake up in the morning and i feel so free and happy, finally I can live with myself, i can be myself, and the good part it i'm enjoying it. I am a happy gay man :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Welcome to EC! I’m glad to hear you’re doing so well now that you’ve accepted who you are! I felt the same when I came out to myself. You just feel like all the anger was bottled up because of your refusal to come to terms with who you are. Once you do expel these bottled up feelings in a moment of ecstasy, well, you feel great.
