Hi my name doesn't matter cause thats how it has seemed lately. My brother recently came out and my family flipped. They are ultra religous and told him they wouldnt tolerate people like that. I want to tell them that there may be a strong possabilty that I may not be straight. Somthing I can barely tell my self let alone myself say out loud. After what happend with my Bro i am not sure i want to. I am kind scared :help:

Welcome to the forums! Your family sound great. (I hope the italics demonstrated the appropriate amount of sarcasm I intended. It should be OOZING off of the word. They sound like dicks!

Have you spoken to your brother about this?

Welcome Nameless! You do matter. I'm so sorry your family has reacted that way, I'm sure your brother would love any support you could give him, but I understand you're in a tight spot yourself so that might be hard. You don't owe them anything in the way of telling them your orientation, after what they did it would be understandable if you waited until you were able to move out and be open. I hope you stick around here, Nameless, there's alot of people willing to love and support you and to share their similiar stories and empathy. Plus you can always learn while you're here as well!
