Shy Lesbian Greeting Hello

Hi. My name' s Frances and I'm a butch
lesbian from Ontario, Canada. I'm fun,
loving, shy but very outgoing who is a huge
animal lover (especially dogs, birds and
guinea pigs). I'm also a huge fan of Lady
GaGa I'm also honest , thoughtful and
serious about certain things. I'm not selfish
or anything like that, as I care more about
my family and friends then myself

I was recently separated from a long distant
relationship with my femme partner, who
happened to be my first girlfriend. But to be
honest, I never had a physical relationship
with a lesbian, unfortunately. My partner
and I never met, since we couldn't afford
travel expenses.

Since I'm now single, I would like to meet a
femme girl who lives within Ontario,
hopefully who lives in Peel Region, as I live near
those areas. I've had it being in a long
distant relationship. I wanted to experience
of what's it like to be in a physical
relationship with a woman. I wanted to be
the one who can take her out on dates, give
her all my love and support to her, and of
course experience making love to her and so
on.

I've indentified myself as a lesbian for
over 5 years now. I always had feelings
and attraction to women since I was a kid.
Guys were never my thing. Never had
feelings for them or anything. But at that
time, I didn 't accept myself. I was confused
for about nearly a decade before admitting
myself that I like women, although I still feel confused today.

I've lost count of how many times I asked
different women out.. But it all ended in a
failure. I don't know, I never have any luck asking women out, and ever since I accepted myself as a lesbian, I'm back to confusion again. Lately, I've been having some feelings of insecurities and such. It feels like I'm not a lesbian, that I'm a nobody who doesn't belong anywhere. To be honest, I've been feeling really depressed lately mostly about my sexual orientation. Plus, where I live, there is lack of LGBT groups near by so life is difficult, really

Thank you for understanding. Yes, I've been battling depression for many years since childhood, although it just got much worse. Also, I have low self esteem so it's hard to stay positive and accepting myself for who I am

I was so depressed and lonely (and I still am) that I called LGBT Youthline and a volunteer told me about this site, that I should join here. So yeah, I signed up here and hopefully, it should help me out ^^
