So I feel very awkward, but I'm making an introduction post because I know I'll just stay a lurker if I don't. I'm Matt, FtM trans and working on getting comfortable in my skin. I'm a theatre kid (you can tell because I spell it THE-YA-TARRR), I live for books, I have four cats and a dog that I'll probably end up talking about more than my own family, and I have a verbosity problem that I'll warn you about up front. I can't get enough of social science and LGBTQ books, but I also heartily dig history and a well-written novel. I'm reading Eminent Outlaws: The Gay Writers Who Changed America right now and it's the best of both worlds.
