Well, yo to anyone who decides to read this. :]
My friends call me Gravy (Haha, interesting story) and I am from California. I'm currently 15 and I'll be a Junior (Grade 11) in the fall.
I'm 5'1" so like, super short but mostly everyone at my school is so I fit right in, woot!

I've been lurking for like 2 weeks and finally decided to join. Yay!

Okay, so my sexual orientation- leaning towards gay and totally happy about it but not out...yet. Eeep.

I like world history, but not AMERICAN HISTORY- it's so incredibly dull and I have no idea why I took APUSH. I like languages as well, I speak English and Spanish fluently and I really want to learn Italian. I like using hyphens- omgosh, like can you totally name my favorite poet!? (Well okay I don't use them like she does in the poems.)

I listen to ALL kinds of music, yes ALL- from Bluegrass, to Pop, to Classical, to Rap and BEYOND! My iPod is the epitome of the phrase, melting pot.

I've embarrassed myself in life so many times, you'd think I'd be immune to the feeling, but sadly, I am not. :[

I'm shy at first when I meet new people, but as I get to know them I love socializing but sadly, I do not know anyone gay, even though I live in the heart of a liberal haven (San Francisco Area).

One more random fact, I have a terrible memory. I tend remember the most useless facts about something and forget the most important ones, including tests and stuff in life, like forgetting people's names like 5 minutes later after I meet them- yay, more embarrassing stuff! P.S. I do tend to ramble and say miscellaneous things that do not tie in with the topic in discussion... :]

So anyway, I've seen nothing but a nice community here and I look forward to meeting some new people!

    Welcome to EC!!

I also have issues with remembering random and pointless facts and forgetting more important things. Actually, it's more as if I do remember important things until I hear some random fact and it just comes along and replaces the important thing. xD

    Welcome!
I must say that it made me very happy to see bluegrass in your music list, when I say I like bluegrass the typical reaction is "uhh, what?", it made me happy, as many things do. You might like http://www.ckua.org/ it a radio station, you can listen to it online, they play a really eclectic mix of music, it's a public radio station that plays music that is mainly written by Canadian artists and they try to include as many Albertans as they can which is cool for me, being Albertan myself, but it is really great music. I hope you like it, but if you don't, it's your loss.

    Well, welcome to EC!

Thanks everybody! I really feel welcome now.

Yeah, NO ONE knows what it is. :[ Funny story, I was watching King of the Hill and it was an episode where the protagonists create a Bluegrass band. They sang "Blue Moon of Kentucky" and I liked it so I looked it up on Youtube- then of course there were links to other songs and after listening to a bunch of them I decided to download them. :] Weird but eh, I found a new genre of music I like.

Anyway, I looked around the website you gave me and I can't find the link to listen to the radio station, could you possibly tell me how? Thank you!
