Hello, everyone! I am a newcomer here. I'm a 24-year-old bisexual guy from Brazil who is currently living (studying, to be more precise) in Belgium. I have been accompanying the interesting debates of Empty Closets since last year (I particularly liked one on the 2008 economic crisis) and today I finally decided to register. It is really good to be amongst people who have experienced or are experiencing the same as you, so I'm very positive about becoming a new member. Nowadays I am out to nearly everyone, but it was a long way to come to this point, so I sympathise with those who are still struggling with it. I will try to be as active as possible around here.
Hah, welcome country-neighbor! What exactly are you studying? And why did you decide to go to Belgium?
Welcome to EC. Consider it your new "home." Everyone here is really helpful and understanding, as I'm sure you know by now.
Thank you, everyone! Thank you, neighbour! I'm doing a Master's in Governance and Development. I decided to come to Belgium because the university where I'm studying is internationally accredited and has a history of scientific research and expertise in the field of development. Also, the country is cool, LGBTQ friendly, affordable, has always interested me and the people are nice!
