    Just wanted to say hi to everyone; just joined. Looking for some new friends; good advise; my main problem is I'm 47 and coming to terms with the fact that I have been gay my whole life but I married(that was what girls are suppose to do) had a daughter(my best friend) but never really got to know what true love or great sex is. Hopefully it's not to late. Any advise anyone has about how or where to meet gay women; I'm all ears.

    There are a few older folks on here, who were/are in a similar situation as you are. Being honest with ourselves is an important part of our wellbeing. In time people will understand. As one member's signature says "it is never too late to be what you might have been."

    Again, welcome to EC! I hope you will find EC as wonderful and helpful as I have.

    Hi there! Welcome to EC! I also came to realize that I was gay later in life - I was married and had two little girls. My wife has been truly incredible, and I now have a partner that I'm totally and completely in love with. I NOW know what it means to be in love (and to have great sex!).

    And it was my 'footer' that Asteroid was refering to. My bf gave me a small plaque with that message on it for my new house last summer.

    Hi and welcome to EC. I am also in my 40's, was married and have kids. I struggled with, and repressed, my sexuality for my entire life. It was only within the last few months that I accepted I was gay. Since then, it is like my life has begun again, and I am happier than I have ever been. It is definately not too late!

    just want to say well done, it must have been hard for you to finally come to terms with such a big thing, and although we haven't met before, i'm proud of you XD *hugs*
