FINALLY decided to make an account here. I've never blogged before, so it'll take some time for me to get used to this... Anyway, I'm a lesbian that's into geeky things, such as: video games, Star Trek, anime/manga, science, history, etc... There is a high LGBT population here, but I'm homeschooled and don't get to go out much... so I don't know very many people who are LGBT. I probably won't be on this often since school takes up most of my time, I just thought it'd be nice to say hi. :icon_bigg

Hi there! Welcome to the forums! It's great that there is a decent population of LGBT folks nearby. It might not help much now but as you get out on your own it should definitely help. Do you have a job or other wise earn some cash that you can contribute to pay for fuel? Or how about asking the leader of anyone lives out your way that you could catch a ride with?

I know she'll take me eventually, money has just been super tight with us and we've been super busy. I'll ask the people there if they can give me a ride, if not I'll probably try MARTA.
