Thanks Devon! Not so sure about brave though. Took me 30 years to fully accept myself and that my sexuality was just another part of me...and to come out. Couldn't hide or run anymore cos I was dying inside. Got to the point I was ready to walk away from everyone including family if needs be. Was very lucky I lost no one but instead have a great support system now. When you're ready, then, well, you're ready.
You'll get there in time. It's a journey we all have to take and it can be, well, less than pleasent at times! When I came out to my mum (for the second time, long story) I made sure she saw me as a lesbian from birth and that I'm normal. Just as you are normal and okay as you are.
