Hi! I'm fifteen, and the reason that I joined EC is because I don't know any other lgtb person , and there's so much stuff I wish I had someone to talk about with. I go to a private catholic school, and I'm still closeted to my parents, who are quite homophobic. My mom cames from a rural area where education is unavailable and church has a strong influence, so her and all of her siblings have never been to school and have quite a close-minded view on life. However, I'm out to four friends, and most of them have been great so far. One of my friends still makes homophobic comments from time to time, but I guess she's just used to it.
