It was around one and half year ago that I found EC, it was a comforting place that I could be myself without being worried with no need to explanation. I had came out to my parents and few of my friends and they used to need some help to understand me, EC helped my in that path. When I found EC, I used to be a virgin with no experience, now I came back, after lots of up and downs, getting involved in a relationship which ended as I found my BF was addicted to drugs, came out to all who matters. But now again as last time I feel kinda lost, I have to much at my table, lost contact whit some loved ones (which I have no hope to be able to fix that), and lots of other obstacles that made me clinically depressed. Now I'm back, and hope to find a spark of hope to hang on. P.s: I speak English as second language, so I'd be glad to get my mistakes corrected.
Looks like you've been through a lot! Welcome back to EC! Also, your english is perfect so don't worry about that!
Welcome back friend! I'm sorry to hear that things have been difficult for you. We're always here and willing to lend an ear if you need to talk about things. So please feel free to use that to your benefit at any time ^.^
Oh wow really? What's it like over in Iran? Also since your from the area do you follow the general religious practices? Btw if you aren't comfortable answering these questions than don't. I'm not looking to push anyone, I was just curious ^^
Welcome back to EC! I'm sorry to hear that you lost contact with some of your loved ones, and that your relationship didn't work out. (*hug*) I hope that EC can provide you again with a bit of 'stability' in your life as it were, and help you along the way.
Yep I'm from Iran. Well, I'm living in a conservative society which not just being gay but practicing any sexual behavior in public, even just a kiss, is not just against the law but people look at it as a sin. fortunately I'm from an Atheist family who appreciate diversity, and support my lifestyle. Nope I don't practice Islam but I have Muslim gay friends. By the way thanks for paying attention ---------- Post added 11th Feb 2014 at 02:09 PM ---------- Thanks Mirko :* it's so sweet of you (*hug*)
I see. Didn't know there was an atheist community in Iran. That's interesting. I'm glad to see you have some support especially being in a place like Iran, though I hope some day things change where you are at or you can find a way to someplace not Iran where you can live peacefully without having to worry about who you love and how other people will take it.
well we don't have a community, cause being Atheist and publicly talking about it or propaganda against Theism is against law. Almost every thing is against law.
That really sucks. That was my understanding of how things were there. I'm really sorry to hear that.
