*waves* lesbian here! Seriously though, check out meetup for groups of like minded folks, assuming it exists out your way, search online for community groups in your area and that kind of thing. If you feel a bit more adventurous you might try going to a pride gathering or a parade and, once you've met a few people, you can see if they can direct you to further resources or groups in your area.
