Hi everybody! Since I just signed up I thought it prudent to introduce myself. I'm twenty-four and I live in Georgia with my two adorable dogs. I have a degree in art and work as a professional designer, although I'm angling to make a career shift here in a few years. No lie, I'm pretty nervous about joining this community - not because it seems to be anything other than wonderfully accommodating, welcoming, and supportive but because I'm still kind of new to the pool as far as all this goes. I've been working with my amazing therapist on issues of sexuality and anxiety and throughout the course of our conversations have come to realize that, while I started tentatively identifying as bisexual in college, I'm actually a lot gayer than I originally allowed myself to admit. It's kind of a brave new world for me so I thought I'd seek out a place where I can talk to other people in similar situations and get some feedback and advice. Despite being nervous, I'm also very happy to have stumbled upon this place and am looking forward to being a part of the community. Hello again, and I can't wait to chat with you!

Hello there and welcome! As a late bloomer myself (in respect to understanding the depth and breadth of my preference for women over men) I can understand the wariness of plunging forward full steam ahead. Don't worry, we don't bite (much). I only came to understand I am a lesbian when I was 24 so don't let that hold you back!
