Hey there lovely people! My name is Alex and I have a whole hunk of lifestory just following me around. Let me break it down for you. I was born with all the bits and bobs that make doctors go 'it's a girl!'. An influx of pink sparkly things and a few birthdays later and I grew into one heck of a cis heterosexual look-alike. I look like a female and sound like a female (actually, I think I sound more like a squirrel on narcotics, but that counts as female where I am). I look the part, sound the part, nothing out of the ordinary except being some kind of Amazonian warrior and making enemies out of low hanging tree branches. Where's the hitch, right? The hitch is two little letters on the end of my name. 'ia' - who knew a pair of vowels could cause so much pondering? See, my personality, my interests, how I present myself, it doesn't match up. It's not that I reject my physical sex - to me my body is simply the avatar I use to interact with the world and nothing more. It's more how inaccurately I'm treated every day which doesn't quite line up with whatever the heck my gender is. I think I might be bi-gendered, although don't quote me on that. I feel like a male with some female tendencies more often than not. It's not intense enough for me to need to change my physical sex, however I do need to give some real thought to my mental gender, because that little voice in my head that questions everything is getting on my nerves. So, there's my little wall of confusion. Sorry about that! It's cool to meet you anyhow, and I look forward to getting to know you all a bit better. Alex.
