i am new here...just told my husband that i am attracted to women and he is totally devastated!! after spending many years coming to terms with this he is under the impression i can wish it away. can anyone relate??
Hello True2myself Welcome to EC, you have found the best place for people in our situation and I am sure over the next weeks and months you will make many friends on here and get tons of advice from all different perspectives. Congratulations on taking this monumental step of telling your husband you have are attracted to women. It is not my intention to suggest you are old but if you have a look in the LGBT Later in Life section of this site you will find many people (probably more than 50) who are, or have been, in a similar situation of being married but also gay / bi. Some of us are just at the start of coming to terms with who we are, some have told their spouse or long term partner and some have not yet done this, some couples are still together and some have separated/divorced.
